Critical Thinking Skills

Critical thinking skills are the ability to process information independently, to make connections, to reason, and to make well thought out decisions. This can be fostered by encouraging exploration and curiosity, asking questions beyond yes/no, and helping children to understand the “why” behind something.

At VK Early Learning, this is encouraged through hands-on and brains-on activities, as well as implementing strategies from the international think-based learning model, VESS.
